Program Description

This activity is the first in a 2-part interactive series titled "Point of Care Clinical Decisions in Asthma Management." Approximately 25.7 million Americans suffer from asthma, a chronic inflammatory disorder of the airways, resulting in recurrent episodes of airflow limitation, mucus production, and cough. Despite many effective therapies and recent advances, many patients continue to experience suboptimal outcomes including activity limitation, missed school or work days, emergency department visits, hospitalizations, and death. This activity will examine optimal evidence-based diagnosis and care.
